Under the Kentucky state law, employers must provide employees with at least one day off in seven. No employer shall employ any employee for a workweek longer than 40 hours unless such employee receives compensation for employment in excess of 40 hours in a workweek at a rate of not less than 1.5 times the hourly rate employed.
